WWW - clear understanding
- shown an understanding of joiners
- creative imagination
EBI - plan it more on how many pictures in the joiner
- maybe add more than 1 effect eg. not only black and white.
-
Next Steps - Next time i will plan my idea more specifically and detailed so i know exactly what i am doing. I will also add more than one effect and colour.

Process I took 3 photos of one main topic(my dog)
I added the 2 pictures onto one canvas and lined them all up so there in line on the horizontal canvas.
Then i used the marquee tool to cut a long rectangle out of layer 1(landscape)
After that i did the same but horizontally and added a third photo
After i finished layering all the images and they look liked the were weaving I merged them all together.

Narrative Homework
Shoot 4 & 5
Shoot 4 - In this shoot I took a picture of my dog, different aspects of his body then added it all together into one picture, this is called a joiner and David Hockney uses that techniques for most of his work. I enjoy making joiners because you can focus on different parts of the picture.
WWW - The pictures are in line to make the full picture
EBI- I could of made it a little more interesting by adding filters, effects or took a picture of my dog outside running or doing something active.
My fifth shoot was a simple picture of my dog, but I edited the photo and put a filter onto it. The technique I was inspired by was Black and White Photography.
WWW- I managed to get a clear picture of my dog and edited naturally but also it doesn't look over edited.
EBI - I added a stronger/more noticeable black and white filter and like in my 4th shoot got a more active photo of my dog.
Next steps: My next steps will be to take a picture of m dog either running or doing something active to make it more interesting, and to add a more clearer and stronger black and white filter.
Igor Posner
Duane Michals
This photo was made in 1972 and it is called chance meeting. Duane Michals was born in 1932, in America. He studied at the Parsons School of Design and University of Denver. Duane uses a series of photographs to make a little clip but its in photographs. I like the way he has used black and white to give it more of an effect. Its a dramatic cliffhanger because you don't really know whats happening so it gives it a dramatic effect. He may of took this photo because when your walking in the street you never know who your going to see whether you know them or not.
Feedback
Critique by Georgia Pinker- WWW: photos were in focus,
good idea behind it,
zoomed in on photos,.
Critique by Olivia Pugsley; WWW: You have used the photo joiner technique throughout
It is clear what the topic of the photo is.
You have critiqued your own work and tried to develop your work.
EBI: Try not to have a white boarder
Carry on with more shoots
Maybe experiment with a different technique once you feel you have developed your ideas.

For my final shoot i am going to a Duane Michals inspired piece. A series of photos of Castle Combe, this is related to my dog because we use to take my dog there when he was a puppy. I will also put it in black and white so i have tried a technique of Igor Poser who i researched. But i also might do a joiner of my garden because that is where my dog likes to play.
Final narrative piece.
I chose to go to a village in Castle Combe where we use to take my dog for walks when he was a puppy. I took a few aspects of the village that interest me like an old house there, The Castle Inn sign which looked quite. I also took a picture of the bench where we use to sit and the dog could go in the stream by it. I put the pictures in black and white so it looks more old fashioned and show that these houses in Castle Combe are quite old.
