Jennifer Blakely is a photographer who creates letters from discrete objects that looks like the letters. She uses buildings, play areas, fences. Anything she can find she will use that looks like a letter. I like her photographs because its interesting to look at but also has a message in the image.
1st Jennifer Blakely shoot.
This is my first attempt at a Weston style shoot. I have found some objects that look like letters but some are hard to identify. I have also made a link between em and the photographer because i have desaturated all the photos which is like Jennifer Blakely's.
2nd Shoot
This is a great start with some of the photographs looking at letters found in objects around school. To improve, you must be able to demonstrate that you are thinking analytically about your homework. This means you should evaluate each photo shoot through critique. 1.2.16
Critique -
WWW i think i have use my own knowledge to create a Jennifer Blakely inspired shoot and create some links bewteen the photographer and me.
EBI - I could of explored more around the school to get figures of letters instead of letters painted on wall.
